Realme XT

Here I have on hand, the realme XT!

For those who don't know, realme is actually the sub-brand of OPPO, just like how Redmi is the sub-brand of Xiaomi.

On the realme XT, you'll find a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen coupled with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The storage is also expandable up to 256GB using a MicroSD card. The front screen and the 3D hyperbola glass curveback of the realme XT is also protected by Corning® Gorilla Glass® 5! The realme XT also has both in-display fingerprint and face recognition security features.

The realme XT’s quad camera consists of the primary 64MP camera, a secondary 8MP ultra wide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera for close-up shots and a 2MP depth sensor. The front uses a single 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera located at the top of its dew-drop display.

In the day, the 64MP camera and wide angle camera is nothing but amazing, although once you go above 5x zoom, the quality of the photo goes southwards and the details of the photos are not preserved very well, but honestly, what are the chances that you'll use up to 10x zoom?

Indoor wise, you can actually see that the realme XT's cameras actually performs quite well. Even the photo that was taken using 'Portrait Mode' turns out sharp with tasteful bokeh.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 makes the realme XT's everyday usage a breeze. Although not as fast as the OPPO Reno 2 which uses the Snapdragon 730G, playing games like Call Of Duty Mobile, Maplestory M, with highest settings are all not an issue to the realme XT.

With a 4,000mAh battery, the realme XT will be able to last you a full day of usage. Don't worry if the phone battery's is fully drained after a full day of gaming as the realme XT comes with OPPO's VOOC 3.0, which actually promises a charge from flat to 52% in 30 minutes!

Overall, at the price point of the realme XT, the phone deliver what it claims and is more than enough for everyday usage even with half a day of gaming!
